Free remote social and technology support for seniors, to help reconnect as COVID-19 restrictions ease

Lively offers free remote support to seniors for up to 8 weeks, helping them to reconnect as we emerge from COVID-19. 

We match older people with a young Helper who connects over the phone or video call for a friendly chat, helping them work through any challenges they may experience with technology.

Support available

Thanks to the generosity of VicHealth, we’re able to support seniors at no charge until the end of April 2021. 

 

Our Helpers can help with:

  • Friendly chats and conversation

  • Connecting with friends/family over video calls 

  • Accessing or sending emails 

  • Texting/sending SMS on your phone

  • Reading ebooks on your device

  • Listening to music/radio/podcasts

  • Watching movies or TV on your device

  • Connecting to Wifi and surfing the internet 

  • Taking photos

  • Organising files on your computer

  • Using a Word processor, e.g. Microsoft Word
